Sunset over the Stono River 18 X 24"
So, if you follow this site, you should be familiar with this river and its highlights. However, its just difficult to predict what one might observe from day to day.
This afternoon was beautiful. The green grass lit up as the sinking sun cut through the atmosphere. The tide was high in the marsh and reflected the light, outlining the marsh grass. Red Cedars stand out with their dark silhouetted shadows. Clouds can really amplify the prism of colors at times as they allow certain wavelengths through and at times, the sun and reflections can be almost blinding.
This is a 18 X 24" acrylic painting and weighs 1.2 pounds
