Frampton's Inlet; Late Afternoon 9 X 12"

This small painting is taken from Frampton's Inlet as Edisto Island abuts the Atlantic Ocean. The scene from the river is looking northward towards Botany Bay Preserve and Pockoy Island. Docks line the shore as the river reaches in close to the land. This big Live Oak reaches over the water giving some shade in the brilliant summer months.

Fishing and crabbing are the interest here, but many visitors and residents just sit and enjoy the sea breeze on their docks, waving to boaters as they pass by.
