Ashepoo Islands in ACE Basin 12X 16"
As one travels down the Ashepoo river by boat from highway 17 south, one will travel down from freshwater ecosystems eventually to saltwater systems until one reaches those areas approaching the intracoastal waterway. As one courses through the labyrinth of waterways near the ocean, many pine forested islands rise up and create an archipelago of beautiful small and medium sized clumps of pine and palmetto outcrops amongst a sea of creeks and marshland. White, pink, and blue tinted cumulus summer clouds crown patches of green pine and palmetto stands littering the landscape.
