Palmettos on Inlet near St Helenas Sound

Frequently, when "locals" see a Lowcountry scene, they are sure they know the location, as they have visited that location many times in their travels about the estuaries up and down the extensive South Carolina coast. However, there exists many very similar locations throughout the salt marsh, live oak, and palmetto landscape.

When exploring boaters slip their boats in at the Dawhoo Landing and head south down the Intracoastal Waterway, Fenwick, Pine, and Otter Islands show numerous beautiful assortments of these components, adding beautiful tall pines at times as well.
