ACE Basin Pines and Grass 10 X 8"

The ACE Basin is a conserved area named for the three rivers that serve it. One of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the Atlantic Coast, this huge unspoiled area has many fine attributes but grass and pines stand out in open fields on the mainland and on the multitude of islands surrounded by mostly salt and brackish water. Motor boat access is required to see most of what this conserved area has to offer.

 These afternoon pines show themselves well but the background forest reveals the amount of humidity is in the air. Patches of grasses may show different colors at different seasons, and many times the wet area grasses stay green longer than the grass on drier ground.
